Frequently Asked Questions

One well-behaved family dog will be considered on a selective basis:

  • The dog must be current on vaccinations and preventive flea and tick control from the veterinarian. The dog must be over the age of one year (no puppies), and spayed or neutered. 
  • The renter agrees to promptly dispose of the dog’s solid waste in sealed plastic bags in the trash receptacle outside. The yard must be kept clean and clear at all times. 
  • The owner attests the dog has no history of biting and exhibits no nuisance behaviors such as chewing or scratching household items and marking or relieving indoors. 
  • The dog will not be left unattended outdoors.
  • The dog is to stay off of all furniture, OR the renter agrees to protect furniture from direct contact with protective dog blankets (provided).
  • The dog is to be crated (large crate provided in laundry room) if left in the home unattended.
  • The dog must be able to safely manage steps and get along well with other dogs, people and children. The shore is a busy place in the summer! 
  • Payment of the $150 pet fee and signed pet addendum on your vacation rental agreement is required

 Your vacation rental agreement will hold the property off the market, and refunds can only be made if the property is re-rented for the agreed upon dates. Any request to cancel must be made in writing as early as possible for the greatest opportunity to book the dates again.. Your refund will be subject to the property re-renting at reservation rates, minus a $250 administration fee per week. Travel insurance is highly recommended.


Unit A is the main floor, 3 bedroom 2 bath condo that is keyed separately for your personal vacation use. You will also receive a code to access the large Unit A garage below.


Common areas: 1. The entrance foyer and hall steps are shared space for both condos, accessed by a code that will be supplied to you for check-in. 2. The fenced back yard is common space. However, upper unit B has a large private deck for outdoor leisure, and the fenced back yard will be primarily for your Unit A use. You will see the owner or owner's employ in the yard for maintenance purposes. Please ask if you have questions!


As your vacation rental host, I am also the resident of upper unit B with my small and friendly dog, Lucy. Similar to staying at a family-owned inn or bed and breakfast, the advantage to having your host on location is that you can rest assured the property and grounds are well-cared for and maintained. If you have any problem during your stay, it can be addressed promptly without going through multiple channels. It is my personal mission to provide guests with the best available pet-friendly family vacations at the Jersey shore!
